What's included in Magnetus Pro?

Magnetus Pro unlocks the complete experience:

Is Magnetus Pro a subscription?
No. Magnetus Pro is a one-time purchase. Pay once, own it forever, no recurring charges, no hidden fees.
Do I get to try Pro features before buying?
Yes. The first time you launch Magnetus, a few Pro features unlock automatically for the session — gravity, haptics, and prismatic colors. You can feel the full experience before deciding. No credit card, no sign-up, no fine print.
Can I share Pro with my family?
Yes. Magnetus Pro supports Apple Family Sharing on iOS and Google Play Family Library on Android. One purchase covers up to six family members. Set this up in your device's family settings — Apple and Google handle the rest automatically.
How do I refund my purchase?

Refunds are handled by Apple or Google directly, not by us:

  • iOS: Visit reportaproblem.apple.com within Apple's eligibility window.
  • Android: Open the Google Play Store, go to your purchase history, and tap "Refund" if eligible.

I bought Pro but I don't see it after reinstalling. How do I get it back?

Open the settings panel (top-left circle), scroll to the bottom, and tap Restore Purchase.

Make sure you're signed in with the same Apple ID or Google account you used for the original purchase. The restore is instant — no need to pay again.

Features & Usage

How do I interact with the fluid?

Three ways:

  • Touch & drag — pull and shape the fluid with your finger. Multi-touch up to 4 fingers is supported.
  • Tilt — enable Gravity in the settings, then tilt your device to make the fluid flow with real-world physics.
  • Watch — leave it alone and it evolves on its own, slowly drifting between moods.
What's the difference between Day and Night moods?
Day moods are vivid, energetic, designed for play and stress relief — Milk, Cell, Gold, Cold, Eco, Ferro, Lunar. Night moods are darker and slower, designed for winding down — Ember, Pearl, BW, BM, Darkness, Deep, Oil. Pick what matches your mood.
What is "Hide Controls" / immersion mode?
Hides every UI element so you have a fully clean canvas. The settings button fades out after a few seconds. To bring controls back, tap the top-left corner of the screen. Perfect for pure ASMR-style sessions.
Why don't I get haptic feedback?

Haptic feedback requires hardware support:

  • iOS: iPhone 7 or later (Taptic Engine).
  • Android: a vibrator with amplitude control (Android 8+, varies by manufacturer).

Also check that your device's system-wide haptic / vibration settings are enabled, and that the Haptic toggle is on inside the Magnetus settings panel.

Does Magnetus need an internet connection?
No. Magnetus runs entirely on your device — no servers, no streaming, no tracking. The only time it touches the network is during purchase or restore, which is handled by Apple or Google directly.

Performance

Will it drain my battery or overheat my phone?

Magnetus uses real-time GPU rendering, so it's more demanding than a static app. On most modern phones it runs cool and smooth at 60–120 fps.

If you're on an older device or want longer sessions, switch the Render setting to Low or Med in the settings panel. This significantly reduces GPU load while keeping the visual quality enjoyable.

What devices are supported?
  • iOS: iPhone with iOS 17 or later. Built on Metal for native GPU performance.
  • Android: Android phones and tablets with OpenGL ES 3.0 support (Android 8+ recommended).

Older devices will work but may benefit from setting Render to Low.

The fluid feels slow or stutters. What can I do?

A few things to try, in order:

  1. In settings, drop Render to Low or Med.
  2. Reduce Number of fluid particles.
  3. Reduce Depth in advanced customization.
  4. Make sure your phone isn't in low-power / battery-saver mode (it caps GPU performance).
  5. Close other heavy apps running in the background.

Privacy

Do you collect any personal data?
None. No accounts, no analytics, no tracking SDKs, no advertising. Your settings are stored locally on your device and never leave it. See our Privacy Policy for the full breakdown.
Do I need to create an account?
No. Magnetus has no accounts, no logins, no email collection. Download, open, play.
Is Magnetus safe for kids?
Yes. No ads, no in-app links to social media, no chat, no user-generated content, no data collection. The only purchase is the one-time Magnetus Pro unlock, gated behind your device's standard purchase confirmation. Many parents use Magnetus as a calming visual fidget for kids.

Troubleshooting

Gravity isn't working when I tilt my device.

A few things to check:

  • Open the settings panel and make sure the Gravity toggle is on.
  • Gravity is a Pro feature, but it's enabled automatically during your first session. After the first session, you'll need Magnetus Pro.
  • Ensure your device's motion sensors aren't disabled at the system level.
The settings panel is gone and I can't bring it back.
You're in immersion mode. Tap the top-left corner of the screen to bring the settings button back.
My settings reset after I reinstalled the app.
Magnetus stores settings locally on your device. When you uninstall the app, that local data is wiped — there's no cloud sync (by design, for privacy). Your Pro purchase is tied to your Apple/Google account though, so just use Restore Purchase after reinstalling.
